The FAO–Hungarian Government Scholarship Programme 2026-27 offers fully funded Master’s degree scholarships in agriculture and life sciences for students from eligible developing and middle-income countries. For the 2026–27 academic year, the scholarship supports English-taught Master of Science (MSc) programmes in:

Agricultural Biotechnology – Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Szent István Campus, Gödöllő)

Animal Nutrition and Feed Safety Engineering – Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Kaposvár Campus, Kaposvár)

This is a fully funded scholarship — meaning all major costs are covered for the duration of study:

🧠 Selection Process
The selection happens in two phases:

Phase 1 – Pre-Screening (FAO):
• FAO reviews candidate applications for eligibility and completeness.
• Eligible applications are sent to the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture. -
Phase 2 – University Selection:
• Candidate applications are forwarded to the chosen university.
• Some universities may require an oral or written English test.
• Final decisions are made by the universities.
